Gravel Hill School

Our Transformers have been busy "Transforming the School", they have undertaken many tricky tasks, but have worked very hard to turn the Wildlife area back into a place that is really accessible for the whole school. The Transformers have cut back trees, bushes and brambles to open up the area.

New bird tables and bird boxes have been erected and the Transformers have worked with younger children to create bird cakes, to ensure the wildbirds have plenty to eat.

They have also planted vegetables and fruits , including: potatoes, spring onions, strawberries, carrots and herbs.

Two "Bug Hotels" have been created , to encourage a wide range of wildlife into the area.

A willow dome has been erected, to provide an outdoor learning area.
